Last days before college...

4:32am is not the best time to update my blog but if I don't do it now, I'll never get around to doing it. Since I missed Friday's update, I will take the time to do that now.

I started off my last Friday of the summer by wearing my brand new pair of Freddy Kruegers. One of my many beautiful pick ups of this summer :) I then leave to house to meet up with John, Alan, Alfonso and Thankie to go to Sports Authority to find Alan a good but cheap bike for college. He saw one online he really wanted but apparently, what they have online is not on sale in the stores. How fucking stupid is that. Anyways, we also go grab some lunch in South San Francisco. We drive there, the place looks kind of janky, the sign was not at all impressive, and the building is so small, it was puny. We parked and to my surprise there was a huge line going out the door. What kind of place is this? It is "Little Lucca's", where size does matter. They have dinosauric sandwiches that will put Subways to shame. They extensive and unique menu include the usual sandwiches like Pastrami, cold cut, turkey, blah blah blah. Then you see the mouth watering items, "Buffalo Chicken, Fire Roasted Steak, Western BBQ Brisket, Cordon Bleu Chicken, etc." After about 40 minutes in line, we are finally inside to order. I share a BBQ Brisket with Alan while John and Alfonso share a Fire Roasted Steak, Thankie being the heavy eater that he is, orders a Fire Roasted Steak for himself after warning us that after you eat 2/3 of it, you'll be too full and you will hate it. After about 50 minutes, we have our sandwiches. We went back to Thankie's and ate it, the first bite into my BBQ brisket was overwhelming. The 50 minute wait was worth it. Blogging about it makes me hungry and salivate, feels like someone popped a waterballon in my mouth. Can't wait to eat that again :) and yes, one half filled me up so it should fill you up (except you Jenny...you would probably kill that whole thing.)

Thankie, John, Alf and I go to Berkeley later that same day to play some Magic, yeah you heard me, Magic the Gathering. I'm not a nerd, I don't play D&D but I play Magic. What was really worth blogging about was our dinner (yes, I love food.) We had dinner at a local restaurant called "Little Hunan". The only thing we go there for is a dish called "Twice Cooked Chicken", it is chicken wings and drumsticks that are first deep fried to get it super crispy, and then tossed in a spicy soy-sauce based sauce. ITS SO FUCKING GOOD. Its the only thing I've eaten in Berkeley, besides McDonalds, but that doesn't count. Its the Asian buffalo wings. As you could see from this picture on your right, we fucking love this. Its like crack in the form of chicken. Move over KFC, there is a new kind of chicken in my life. After all that, we manage to get back to Daly City to catch the 12:15am showing of District 9 at Centuries. District 9 was an amazing movie in my opinion, it had a pretty good story line with kick ass action with equally kick ass alien weapons. It is a must watch, you want to be cool? Watch District 9 *cough* Dylan, Jenny, Terence *cough*.

Now that I'm done yapping about Friday, I could now yap about Saturday heheehe. I get a call in the morning from Baron asking me if I wanted to go eat, just me and him (NH). Terence then calls and coincidentally, he is in there area to get a hair cut. Baron, Terence and I then meet up with Jack and Jenny to go eat lunch at Watami because Kevin says there is some $5 lunch special for their usual $11 bowl of ramen. He wasn't lying, there it was, the lunch special for the Watami Ramen, a gigantic bowl of Japanese Traditional ramen with your choice of either Tonkatsu, Shoyou, Miso or Spicy Miso for you soup base. It comes loaded with chashu, wontons, eggs, bamboo shoots, fish cake and tender pork. That was a great meal for a great price. I totally recommend people to go there, it is on Geary between 18th and 17th. After we massacred the ramen, we got Dylan and we embarked on our next journey to Japantown.

There, we tried to go cheer for Cristina who was in the Harajuku contest. She made top 5 but lost. Sorry we didn't make it early ^_^''. We walked around the fair and ate some pretty gangster cupcakes. They were one dollar for these puny little bite-sized cupcakes but they were very good. Jenny got a Thai Tea and I got a Lemon Basil Blueberry, it was pretty fucking good. It is comparable to Sprinkles cupcakes but its not better. I say its not better because if I said that they were, Jackie would probably kill me (speaking of which, she needs to start her blog as well). I also bumped into Vincent and his girlfriend just hanging around at Japantown. What was more random than seeing Vince was running into Mikey, apparently he saw my status about being at Japantown, and he wanted to meet up with me. When he told me that he was there because he was looking for me, I thought it was a joke. I checked my phone to find that I had 1 notification on Facebook and it was Mikey's reply to my status saying, "where are you, let's meet up." Keep in mind I don't hang out with Mikey a lot, I love him to death and all (NH) but we don't usually hang out... ANYWAYSSSSS

I go home for a bit to grab my uniform and go to work. Soon after, I finally get to change our pomegranate flavor to coconut. Which is pretty darn good, stop by and get a sample! I work on the Tuttimelon on Polk and Broadway :) We also have new mochi flavors, apple and honeydew. I rarely work with Jenny but tonight was one of those nights. Its always funner to work with Jenny because we just have this connection because we're cool like that, yee~ Anyways, couple hours roll by and Raymond, John and surprisingly Mikey all assemble at Tuttimelon. We have to wait until 12am for Jenny to get off so we could all finally enjoy our last night of going out in the summer. We decided to go grab some late night eats at El Faro Lito's, they have the most amazing burritos and quesadillas in San Francisco hands down. The best thing about them is that they are open until 4am, they are located on Mission and 24th. While waiting for my order, a satisfied customer yells out, "You have the best late night food! I LOVE YOU!!!" Someone asks him what he got and the happy guy says Chorizo Quesdilla. Sitting down, I look at him and say, "No fucking way, that's what I got." Him, being the person standing up, looks around trying to find the person, me, who said that. After scanning for about 3 seconds he turns around and leaves the place. Being ignored because we were not on the same eye level just made me feel how midgets feel everyday, sigh, sucks to be them. Oh wells, anyways we eat and then make our way to Classic Bowl. We bowled for a whole hour, everytime we try to buy an hour, those workers always give us the stupid story about how you could only bowl about 2 games in one hour and that we would wasting money because 2 games are cheaper. One hour later, we finished our third game with literally 1 minute to spare. Eat that motherfucker, 4 people finished 3 games in one hour and didn't really rush it that much. Also, much thanks to Mikey who taught me how to spin with "The Shocker." Yeah, you heard me, the shocker, you know, two in the pink, one in the stink.

After we all leave bowling, I get driven home and here I am now, 6am.... Holy shit, it's 6am. It took me an hour and a half to update this. Well I did have a shitload to write. Now I have to sleep and get my haircut tomorrow and enjoy the last day before I become a college student.
