Its so fucking hot.

Here is the long awaited update...

It is so fucking hot today, where was this weather during the summer? God is really trying to fuck with us. I was sitting in class the other day just sweating my balls off. Then I had tennis class for 2 hours, I was dying on the courts. Anyways, last night it was so hot, that I didn't use any blankets but it still felt like I had blankets on me. I woke up like at 9, unable to sleep anymore. Now here I am, at home, sweating. I live on the top floor so its hot like fuck. I am about to go out just to be a bit cooler. Seeya.....

First day of City wasn't all that bad

Last night, I come home to find out that I have been invited to my cousin's wedding that is going down in about 2 weeks. You know what that means, free food~! This should be pretty awesome because for the first time, this is a wedding that is not between two Chinese people, the lucky groom is Japanese and he is marrying my cousin, lucky her. The invite was pretty cool I guess, the groom was Japanese, I was expecting a PS3 or something, at least a PS2. Oh wells, anyways, this will be going down at some Chinese restaurant, I hope there is Japanese food! =D

It's good to wake up and know that I could ride BART to school. This morning, I woke up early to attempt to crash a French 1 class, or to add it after the class is full. I wanted to be in that class for a couple of reasons, first off, Alfonso was in that class, second, I needed a language class because I only took 3 semesters of Japanese instead of 4 (don't ask why...) I was also 5 units away from being a full time 12 unit student in order to qualify for my financial aid (which I haven't applied for yet >.<) My first class was French, which was pretty cool, if the classroom wasn't the size of the custodian's goddamn office, hell, I bet his office is at least twice as big as that thing. Besides the size of the room, an old Asian man, old enough to be my grandfather (nofuckinglie) sits in front of me. Then in front of him, there's this fat white chick, a two-seater. If you guy think I'm fucked of for talking about her like that, think of what that grandpa in front of me feels, he's blocked off from any view of the chalkboard. Taking away another person's education, now that's fucked up.

My second class, is Philippine Studies of Culture and Society Through Film. If you haven't already seen my Facebook status, I am 1 of the 2 Chinese kids in my class. There is 1 Pakistani, 1 African American, and one Italian/German I think (she made everyone introduce themselves) and one Japanese guy, who is a quarter Filipino, so I guess he doesn't count. Besides the 6 and one fourth non-Filipino students, everyone else is Filipino. Seems like fun, can't wait to watch films. =)

My third and last class is Women in the Economy. Its a fun class, seems like lots of work. We did this group activity where we had to discuss and list male and female stereotypes, Raymond would have loved this class. He would have easily listed sandwich, kitchen and can't drive. Also, Vernon, Polian and Jenny are in this class with me. This should be fun!

Afterschool, I had to go to work. This is where I meet this lady. Everything she has is red, her face is under about 4 inches of red make-up, JUST red, nothing else. She comes in and orders two $3 cupcakes asks me to put them into cups and put four toppings of them. Then, she asks for a cup of water with two honey-dew mochis in them, yes, just...two...frickin...pieces...of...mochi. When she paid, she busts out her red wallet and pays me, she is pretty loaded, I saw a stack of cash in there. Then she sits there, and kind of dances around that table she is sitting at. When she ordered she also was talking to herself in gibeerish, I barely understood what she said to me. She walks up to the counter and starts picking out the pink gelato spoons. Jenny gets here just in time to take over just in time for me to go off and play tennis, now its her problem. She texts me later saying this, "The lady in red is bankrupting us of our spoons." I wonder how long it took her to leave...

On my way to tennis, I saw a mob of of people in red dress, men and women, running. I thought that crazy red lady really got the best of me. I have no idea what the fuck that was. I asked one runner that was jogging toward me what was the occasion. He responded but I couldn't make any sense of it....just like that goddamn crazy red lady.

Well, tomorrow, I gotta get up and get to school at 9 to take one class for ONE HOUR! After that, I have no idea what to do....Until then!

EXTRAS~!

Anyways here is a picture I took as they ran into Washington Square

It used to say Tips Thank You

AGHH!! COLLEGE BEGINS TOMORROW!

Holy crap I'm about 15 hours away from become a college student! Although I won't have the same experience as people in UC's and whatnot, I am sure the next couple years in City College will be a blast.

Today was my last day before going out into the new world as a college student, and what did I do? Absolutely nothing. I woke up to find myself yet again stuck in a chair with my eyes glued on the computer screen and TV. At about 5pm, I left the house for a haircut. In about 15 minutes, I will leave for work and that's about it. Not really as exciting as I had imagined but oh well. I have not even went back to school shopping, but that is so high school-like. I'll buy my notebooks, binders and what not when I feel like it. I'll do whatever I want, I'm a motherfuckerin' college student WHOO! I do feel good now that I am actually not obligated to be in school but I just do it to keep my parents off of my back. I mean seriously, I have 3 classes, one of them being tennis so that really doesn't count. My 2 other classes include Phillipine Studies of Culture and Society through Film, and Women in the Economy. Really?? I don't have any of the classes that I wanted like math or eng. Sigh, city sucks. I am going to leave really early in the morning tomorrow to try to crash a course in City. The reason I am leaving early is because of that BART strike, I am expecting the worse. When the last BART strike happened 12 years ago in 1997, things were terrible. Read this, quoted from The Examiner,

"In 1997, the last time BART workers went on strike, the system was shut down for six days and wreaked havoc on Bay Area commute times. Freeway commutes typically took 30 minutes longer than usual as throngs of additional cars packed the freeways."

I guess 30 minute delay doesn't seem that bad, but wait! I don't fucking drive and this isn't 1997 anymore. According to the demographics of 1996, there was an estimated 768,263 people living in San Francisco, in the year 2009, there is an estimated 808,976 people who live here. That is an increase of about 41 thousand people! WTF!? I am just expecting the worse, I am going to leave my house an hour earlier than usual, maybe even an hour and a half. But anyways, I need to get ready to go to work. I gotta dress and get to the bus stop in 8 minutes or else I have to walk to work...

Last days before college...

4:32am is not the best time to update my blog but if I don't do it now, I'll never get around to doing it. Since I missed Friday's update, I will take the time to do that now.

I started off my last Friday of the summer by wearing my brand new pair of Freddy Kruegers. One of my many beautiful pick ups of this summer :) I then leave to house to meet up with John, Alan, Alfonso and Thankie to go to Sports Authority to find Alan a good but cheap bike for college. He saw one online he really wanted but apparently, what they have online is not on sale in the stores. How fucking stupid is that. Anyways, we also go grab some lunch in South San Francisco. We drive there, the place looks kind of janky, the sign was not at all impressive, and the building is so small, it was puny. We parked and to my surprise there was a huge line going out the door. What kind of place is this? It is "Little Lucca's", where size does matter. They have dinosauric sandwiches that will put Subways to shame. They extensive and unique menu include the usual sandwiches like Pastrami, cold cut, turkey, blah blah blah. Then you see the mouth watering items, "Buffalo Chicken, Fire Roasted Steak, Western BBQ Brisket, Cordon Bleu Chicken, etc." After about 40 minutes in line, we are finally inside to order. I share a BBQ Brisket with Alan while John and Alfonso share a Fire Roasted Steak, Thankie being the heavy eater that he is, orders a Fire Roasted Steak for himself after warning us that after you eat 2/3 of it, you'll be too full and you will hate it. After about 50 minutes, we have our sandwiches. We went back to Thankie's and ate it, the first bite into my BBQ brisket was overwhelming. The 50 minute wait was worth it. Blogging about it makes me hungry and salivate, feels like someone popped a waterballon in my mouth. Can't wait to eat that again :) and yes, one half filled me up so it should fill you up (except you Jenny...you would probably kill that whole thing.)

Thankie, John, Alf and I go to Berkeley later that same day to play some Magic, yeah you heard me, Magic the Gathering. I'm not a nerd, I don't play D&D but I play Magic. What was really worth blogging about was our dinner (yes, I love food.) We had dinner at a local restaurant called "Little Hunan". The only thing we go there for is a dish called "Twice Cooked Chicken", it is chicken wings and drumsticks that are first deep fried to get it super crispy, and then tossed in a spicy soy-sauce based sauce. ITS SO FUCKING GOOD. Its the only thing I've eaten in Berkeley, besides McDonalds, but that doesn't count. Its the Asian buffalo wings. As you could see from this picture on your right, we fucking love this. Its like crack in the form of chicken. Move over KFC, there is a new kind of chicken in my life. After all that, we manage to get back to Daly City to catch the 12:15am showing of District 9 at Centuries. District 9 was an amazing movie in my opinion, it had a pretty good story line with kick ass action with equally kick ass alien weapons. It is a must watch, you want to be cool? Watch District 9 *cough* Dylan, Jenny, Terence *cough*.

Now that I'm done yapping about Friday, I could now yap about Saturday heheehe. I get a call in the morning from Baron asking me if I wanted to go eat, just me and him (NH). Terence then calls and coincidentally, he is in there area to get a hair cut. Baron, Terence and I then meet up with Jack and Jenny to go eat lunch at Watami because Kevin says there is some $5 lunch special for their usual $11 bowl of ramen. He wasn't lying, there it was, the lunch special for the Watami Ramen, a gigantic bowl of Japanese Traditional ramen with your choice of either Tonkatsu, Shoyou, Miso or Spicy Miso for you soup base. It comes loaded with chashu, wontons, eggs, bamboo shoots, fish cake and tender pork. That was a great meal for a great price. I totally recommend people to go there, it is on Geary between 18th and 17th. After we massacred the ramen, we got Dylan and we embarked on our next journey to Japantown.

There, we tried to go cheer for Cristina who was in the Harajuku contest. She made top 5 but lost. Sorry we didn't make it early ^_^''. We walked around the fair and ate some pretty gangster cupcakes. They were one dollar for these puny little bite-sized cupcakes but they were very good. Jenny got a Thai Tea and I got a Lemon Basil Blueberry, it was pretty fucking good. It is comparable to Sprinkles cupcakes but its not better. I say its not better because if I said that they were, Jackie would probably kill me (speaking of which, she needs to start her blog as well). I also bumped into Vincent and his girlfriend just hanging around at Japantown. What was more random than seeing Vince was running into Mikey, apparently he saw my status about being at Japantown, and he wanted to meet up with me. When he told me that he was there because he was looking for me, I thought it was a joke. I checked my phone to find that I had 1 notification on Facebook and it was Mikey's reply to my status saying, "where are you, let's meet up." Keep in mind I don't hang out with Mikey a lot, I love him to death and all (NH) but we don't usually hang out... ANYWAYSSSSS

I go home for a bit to grab my uniform and go to work. Soon after, I finally get to change our pomegranate flavor to coconut. Which is pretty darn good, stop by and get a sample! I work on the Tuttimelon on Polk and Broadway :) We also have new mochi flavors, apple and honeydew. I rarely work with Jenny but tonight was one of those nights. Its always funner to work with Jenny because we just have this connection because we're cool like that, yee~ Anyways, couple hours roll by and Raymond, John and surprisingly Mikey all assemble at Tuttimelon. We have to wait until 12am for Jenny to get off so we could all finally enjoy our last night of going out in the summer. We decided to go grab some late night eats at El Faro Lito's, they have the most amazing burritos and quesadillas in San Francisco hands down. The best thing about them is that they are open until 4am, they are located on Mission and 24th. While waiting for my order, a satisfied customer yells out, "You have the best late night food! I LOVE YOU!!!" Someone asks him what he got and the happy guy says Chorizo Quesdilla. Sitting down, I look at him and say, "No fucking way, that's what I got." Him, being the person standing up, looks around trying to find the person, me, who said that. After scanning for about 3 seconds he turns around and leaves the place. Being ignored because we were not on the same eye level just made me feel how midgets feel everyday, sigh, sucks to be them. Oh wells, anyways we eat and then make our way to Classic Bowl. We bowled for a whole hour, everytime we try to buy an hour, those workers always give us the stupid story about how you could only bowl about 2 games in one hour and that we would wasting money because 2 games are cheaper. One hour later, we finished our third game with literally 1 minute to spare. Eat that motherfucker, 4 people finished 3 games in one hour and didn't really rush it that much. Also, much thanks to Mikey who taught me how to spin with "The Shocker." Yeah, you heard me, the shocker, you know, two in the pink, one in the stink.

After we all leave bowling, I get driven home and here I am now, 6am.... Holy shit, it's 6am. It took me an hour and a half to update this. Well I did have a shitload to write. Now I have to sleep and get my haircut tomorrow and enjoy the last day before I become a college student.

Day 1

Whaddaya know, I finally started a blog!

Anyways, today I wake up to a beautiful day, the beach, the breeze and the ocean on Wrights Beach in Bodega Bay. To my surprise, Dylan and I, who slept the latest, woke up the earliest that morning. We had a hearty breakfast, frosted flakes w/ dried berries, bacon, chorizo fail scramble and english muffins. Everyone was exhausted from the night before. Ignoring the fact that we were supposed to pack up and checkout by 12, we were visited by a park ranger who tells us that we were supposed to leave by 12 and that we were too noisy. This guy sounded like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, he thought we were drinking and that he wanted us out in 30 minutes, people were still sleeping and most of us were half awake! 45 minutes later, we are packed up and ready to go Mr.Ihaveadickupmyass comes back and tells us in his pissed off voice to hurry up as if there was another person waiting for our campsite. He then left to go check out other campsites and probably have another helping of cock meat sandwich. Apparently, everywhere else is always hotter than San Francisco, the moment we got back here, it gets colder and the air is more San Francisco like. I get home tired and dirty wanted to take a shower and sleeeeeeep.

I get home, as I am unpacking my dirty clothes, I realize that there is sand in some of my socks and clothes, so I walk out to my stair in a tee shirt and shorts to remove some of the sand out of my new Stussy Drum Bag. When suddenly, BOOM, the fucking door behind me slams shut. I stare at the door for a good 10 minutes thinking, "You've gotta be shitting me." My only option now is to take the bus, from my house in Chinatown, all the way to Mission and Ocean to my Dad's restaurant and get the keys from my mom or dad. Pissed off, tired, and dirty, I grab 95 cents that fell out of my jeans into the bag and I go and take the bus. I miss a 30 bus and it says that the next bus is coming in 5 minutes. Even though that stop was empty, 5 minutes is more than enough for Asian people to gather at this stop and fill enough buses to have me wait for hours on end. I end up walking downtown to the 14 bus and on my way, I saw a midget, and according to Alfonso, those vertically challenged people give you bad luck. The last time I saw a midget I had to quit my job because I had to take nightschool, that's like a double fucking negative. 3 hours later I am in front of my house with my Mom's keys in my hands still pissed, still dirty and still tired beacuse I wasted 2 and a half hours due to my stupidity. FACEPALM.

I walk in my house, shower and sleeeeeeep. I get a call from Jenny and she reminds me that we were supposed to meet up about an hour ago. So, I stayed home, ate dinner, and started a blog. Now, I will be heading out to Jenny's place to go grab some dessert and 100% Sweet Cafe!
